Can you roll me one of those cowboy?



This is a sort of under the radar documentary Scorsese made in the late seventies featuring his friend, ex-drug addict, roadie for Neal Diamond, gun salesman in Taxi Driver, and above all a classic New York character who had more than a few stories to tell. See if anything he says seems familiar...

It starts around 2:30 and lasts about a minute, but it's better if you watch all the dialogue leading up to it.

Damn. We all know Tarentino is a thief, and I guess I shouldn't be surprised about Linklater.

The story in the gas station is used verbatim for a scene in Waking Life. Even worse than Pulp Fiction, because the scene in Waking Life is being retold.
