What's Your Walk Score?

Walk Score helps people find walkable places to live. Walk Score calculates the walkability of an address by locating nearby stores, restaurants, schools, parks, etc. Walk Score measures how easy it is to live a car-lite lifestyle—not how pretty the area is for walking.

Toast House: 57 out of 100 — Somewhat Walkable
Old Central St Apartment, Newmarket: 69 out of 100 — Somewhat Walkable
My Montreal Apartment: 88 out of 100 — Very Walkable
Parents' House, Newbury NH: 12 out of 100 — Car-Dependent

Most walkable cities:
1. San Francisco
2. New York City
3. Boston
4. Chicago

My current apartment, which is in the dead center of Paris France, got a 65 out of 100. Two points lower than 29 Central St.

I knew my apartment in Plymouth would be pretty bad... but Litchfield's Walk Score is: 3 out of 100 — Car-Dependent. Yikes...

my house in Litch got an 11 but there's a glitch.. most of the establishments are across the merrimack. unless i swim, it would take about 8-16 miles to get to any of them..
