bijou park edit

bijou park is about a mile from our house in south lake tahoe and it's the shit. nestled in a forest of tall pines there's a locally built concrete skatepark, a 27 hole frolf course, basketball courts, and a dog park. because of the pines, the u-bowl, and the vert quarter pipe this place reminds me of the old litchfield skate park stomping grounds. it wasn't hard to feel right at home here. there's a bunch of cool up and comer locals as well as a large supply of older concrete shredders. here's an edit i put together today:

Hometown Hero: Horace Seymour III

Once widely revered within the confines of Litchfield, NH for his youth league assistant coaching abilities, hilariously imitable voice, and second-to-none VHS porn collection, Horace Seymour III has officially hit rock bottom. Seymour was found guilty Friday for embezzling 135,000 dollars from the town of Litchfield during the years of his storied climb from lowly assistant coach of the underachieving Warrens Auto Body rec basketball team, to the head of the recreation department, and culminating at the lofty elected position of town treasurer.

He's definitely going to jail and I sort of feel bad for Horace's family but come on!! The skatepark went years during Horace's reign without a single repair until it was finally torn down for being unsafe. Knowing that skatepark money went to Chipper or Chubbalubs's four wheelers and Japanese cars really pisses me off. I think he should be jailed under the decking of a reconstructed mini-ramp at Darrah where we can throw empty tall boy's at him and make his ears ring with frontside disasters.
