go celts!

classic celtics/lakers circa 2002.

even though the outcome could be debatable it's still fun to watch 'toine bank in a three and watch him run his mouth.

i actually really liked that '02 eastern conf. finals team looking back on it. 'snipe and i booed a lot of opposing players that season.

that team would've also given the lakers a way better series than the shitty nets who of course got swept...

Stan Van = Sore Loser

So no surprise here but, after the embarassment that was christmas day, who can blame him. What a dork

"I actually feel sorry for people who have nothing to do on Christmas Day other than watch an NBA game," the Orlando Magic coach said.

All I can say is Celtics! Celtics! Celtics!

Celtic "Great" sticks it to the devil

Pollard really sticks it to Cheryl miller. Great.

Best quote, "it's really heavy on my hand, so it reminds me that it's always there."

for the die-hard Celtics fans

There's a lengthy, well-written article on the life and career of Paul Pierce in the new Sports Illusatrated.

"There stands Paul Pierce. The Celtics forward, once the seeming embodiment of what Jordan sneeringly called "New Jack players"—underachieving and self-involved, persona non grata with the national team after leading it to its implosion in 2002, bearer of a contract that will pay him $18,077,903 this season—is hunched over. He's a wreck. Havlicek hands him the trophy, and Pierce dips his head onto the legend's right shoulder. Pierce lifts his head, tears streaming down his cheeks, and it suddenly becomes clear that we're witnessing a rare moment in modern sports: not market-tested, not spun, close to pure."
