prediction of the day

if you dont believe in aliens today is the day, according to former NORAD officer Stanley A. Fulham, you will.
october 13th (eg today) is the day he predicts, in his book 'challenges of change,' that alien space-crafts will hover all the world's major cities. but why?

he believes they hold some kind of technology they will lend to us so we can clean up our climate. it's kind of hard to believe, especially when these types of people are never right (see: heaven's gate) and he worked for the government.
but i'll keep my eyes peeled tonight and hope for the best.

I wish I spoke Werner Herzog English

fuck i like this song.

i remember in the early 00's when my bro went to keene as a punk enthusiast and came back repping bands like modest mouse, the jazz june and built to spill. i still remember getting stoned and stealing the jawbreaker album with the cat on the cover from his car... this track makes me think of that for some reason..

this track ain't bad neither:

a good ol' fashioned fist pumping, cock-hardening anthem...

We all now have a reason to keep from killing outselves until November 1st. Brian Eno is releasing a new solo album, Small Craft for a Milk Sea. If any one finds a leak, send it my way.

caribou.

bob dylan on pawn stars?

although dylan looks perturbed, he must be a fan of the show because the hassle that one must go through to get dylan to sign an appearance release must be gruesome.

dylan pops up on the most random things..

i'll take a double cheeseburger with extra heroin.

oh the government. when will you stop deficit spending on programs such as this?

i'm sure that heroin is afghany pure and that cheeseburger is pure kobe beef..

obvious quote of the day

“Republicans originally thought that Fox worked for us, and now we are discovering we work for Fox”

-David Frum

Taken from this nytimes piece that outlines the symbiotic relationship between big media moguls (murdoch) and (republican) politicians.

face it rich sanchez, you suck

portland is a rad effing town brah..

in the midst of a shitty electro-pop mini-fest at some venue, this guy showed up on stage and proceeded to blow my feeble mind. i was like, "fuck i'm lazy."

i also saw the thermals play this one song at a "label-mates" festivity at this place the halocene:

it's catchy but not my favorite.. i also saw the the parenthetical girls the same night..

still, earlier tonight i saw the arcade fire and it was easily the best show i've seen in years. they effing murdered it.
